From my childhood in Lebanon, where I used a large closet door as my first canvas, to the majestic mountains of Switzerland and my current home in San Diego, nature has always been my biggest inspiration. Along the way, art became the way I express my emotions, and discover ones I didn’t know I was holding deep in my heart.

My own journey with art has been one of rediscovery. After years of creative dryness brought on by a struggle with major depression, I found my way back to the canvas through nature. The mountains, in particular, became my muse, a source of stillness. They symbolize the vast, unpredictable paths we all walk, containing both the steep climbs of our struggles and the breathtaking views of our joys.

Oil paint is my chosen medium for its slowness, its depth. The way layers are built over days and weeks feels like healing—a gradual unfolding. 

Each canvas is a journey, an exploration of the landscapes that symbolize our own paths of struggle, growth, and resilience. With minimalistic design and earthy palettes, I paint to evoke a feeling of peace—an invitation to pause.
